Redemption

Madrid, 2022

Blood has changed the course of history. 

This work represents the weight of suffering, the weight of the darkness of sin, the weight of the atrocities that had to occur until the fulfilment of the destiny of that blood. Each stitch in that humble and torn fabric represents the price that, with each of His wounds, Jesus paid for my rescue and forgiveness.

As I contemplate the result of the process, I do so with a grateful heart, and the piece becomes a connection with the story that Christians remember for our faith and that of millions of people around the world.

Blood is the linking thread in this great family of those forgiven and adopted by God.
